Let's face it, 2017 has been a really bleak year for women and women's rights – The Handmaid's Tale may be a television show based on speculative fiction, but it's feeling more like reality every day. Which is why we're so excited to share some posi-vibes gender news with you: presenting Kowtow's collaboration with Caroline Walls, with a percentage of sales being donated to the International Women's Development Agency.

Caroline Walls is a Sydney-based artist who, in her paintings, abstracts the female form to present diverse representations of the female body from the perspective of the female gaze. (You might have noticed her handiwork on our Gender Equal Tote Bag from last year.) Kowtow is New Zealand-based label which makes all of its pieces fairly, from certified organic cotton. Which is to say this collaboration is a match made in ethics heaven.

Caroline Walls has designed two prints, 'Calling Out Of Context' and 'This Must Be The Place', which Kowtow have printed onto three of its cult building block t-shirt shapes. The tees are limited edition, are $129, and $20 from each t-shirt will be donated to the International Women's Development Agency, which strengthens women's safety and security in the Asia Pacific.

The Kowtow and Caroline Walls collaboration is available exclusively on Well Made Clothes in Australia, and you can shop the six limited edition tees below or over here
