Off Carte Shares Their Recipe For Overnight Pizza Dough

Pizza is one of those universal comfort foods that we can never get enough of. Which is why Off Carte is sharing their pizza dough recipe with WMC this week.

ICYMI, Off Carte is the recipe exchange community that was founded by Joel Mevissen of Westmont Pickles and our very own Rosie Dalton. On Instagram, Off Carte shares easy DIY recipes from chefs, designers and everyone in between. Including a special weekly recipe especially for us.

This week it is their overnight pizza dough recipe, which you can top with whatever you like – we love a fresh pizza loaded with seasonal veggies like spring greens. 

Here's how.


1. Mix two cups of 00 flour in a bowl with a big pinch of salt

2. Stir in just under one cup of lukewarm water, 1 tsp olive oil, and 3/4 tsp of active dry yeast

3. Knead for a few minutes until well combined and then rest for 15

4. On a lightly floured surface, knead your dough for a few minutes 

5. Cut dough in half and roll into two balls

6. Cover with a dampened cloth and rest for about 4 hours at room temperature

7. After rest, place each ball on a floured surface and stretch out into rounds with your fingers

8. Now your pizza dough is ready to top and bake!
