Great vegan food can be notoriously difficult to find. But fortunately there is now an all-vegan market coming to town this November. Setting up shop in Marrickville, the Sydney Vegan Market will launch on November 19 and will be hosted by Vegan NSW (formerly The Vegan Society) at the Portuguese Community Club. It is scheduled to run every third Sunday of the month between 9am and 4pm, and will offer an array of food, coffee, homewares and vegan-friendly clothing.

Stallholder applications are now open to those selling vegan products, as well as to volunteers looking to help out. As Vegan NSW points out, “there is a shift in awareness happening right now… we are becoming aware of how and what we are consuming and it's an exciting time.” With this in mind, the market is for those who want to make a difference in the Sydney vegan community. As well as for those who “wish to connect with like-minded people and are excited, passionate or just plain curious about experiencing a different way of eating and living.”
