According to PETA, more than one billion animals are killed every year for their hide alone. Fortunately, creativity and technological advancements have given rise over recent years to a range of great non-animal leathers (like Piñatex, which is a cellulose fibre that's actually made from pineapple leaves).

Enter vegan handbags. These pieces are created without causing any harm to animals.

If you, like us, have tried to find high quality, good looking, vegan bags, then you will know how difficult it can be. Luckily, though, we have searched, and we have found!

We now have one of the best selections of vegan bags in the business (we reckon, anyway). These include clutches and carry-alls; buckets and backpacks from world-leading brands like Matt & Nat and Ahimsa Collective.

Matt & Nat, for example, was founded almost 25 years ago, with a commitment to using 100% vegan materials and 100% recycled plastic bottles for the lining of its bags, too.

Ahimsa Collective is an Australian vegan bag label, which makes its bags fairly, using innovative fabrications, including Piñatex leather, and also including vegan leather salvaged from a waste warehouse in Australia, which, in turn, diverts it from landfill.
