Women in a village near the Wildlife SOS Elephant Conservation and Care Centre in Mathura, India, are knitting hypercolour jumpers for the rescue elephants who live in the care centre, as they battle near-freezing temperatures.

“It is important to keep our elephants protected from the bitter cold during this extreme winter, as they are weak and vulnerable having suffered so much abuse making them susceptible to ailments such as pneumonia," Kartick Satyanarayan, founder of the centre, told the Times of India.

In the image, above, a female elephant wears a multicolour cloak-and-pant contraption, and if this isn’t the cutest thing you’ll see today, then we don’t know what is.
