It is officially MBFWA and The Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2018 kicks off this week, so now is the perfect time to discuss sustainability in local fashion. Which is exactly what we’ll be doing this Thursday evening, as part of a panel conversation presented by Arnsdorf. At General Assembly this Thursday May 17, Well Made Clothes Co-Founder Courtney Sanders will join Arnsdorf founder Jade Sarita Arnott, The Guardian’s Editor of Sustainable Business Alexandra Spring and the National Manager of Ethical Clothing Australia Angela Bell for a conversation on the need for transparent fashion design, retail and manufacturing in Australia.

This talk will focus on the growing social interest in what we consume and why. Because, as Arnsdorf explains, “we want sustainable products to continue to improve, to be accessible and to become the norm in fashion. We are playing a small part in a big movement, but we feel that every small contribution can contribute to this change.” So we invite you to join us this Thursday night for an inspiring conversation on what we hope the future of fashion will look like.

The event runs from 6-8pm in the Sydney CBD and you can book your tickets to ‘Fashioning the Future’ over here. But places are limited, so get in quick to make sure that you don’t miss out.
