Shipping and Returns

How our shipping works:

If you have purchased multiple items from multiple brands, please note these will be shipped out to you individually. For example, if you have purchased a pair of Holly Ryan earings and a fabulous Miss Crab dress, you will receive two separate parcels.

Our shipping is free or just a little fee (yes, we’re poets and we know it). We’ve worked really hard to make things as easy and inexpensive for you as possible. (We know all too well what it’s like to spend hours on the Internet finding those must­have boots on sale, only to be stung at checkout with insane shipping costs.) If you have any questions (or complaints, or notes of gratitude, or love letters), send them over to us at info@wellmadeclothes.com.

If you live in Australia:

If you’re buying from an Australian­ based brand, shipping will be free!

If you live in Australia and buy a product from a New Zealand­ based brand, shipping will be $20AUD.

If you live in Australia and buy a product from a brand based somewhere in the rest of the world, shipping will be $30AUD.

For example:

If you live in Sydney and purchase a pair of pants by Dress Up, shipping will be free.

If you live in Melbourne and purchase a top by Kowtow (a New Zealand brand) and a pair of pants by Dress Up (an Australian brand), shipping will cost a flat rate of $20AUD.

If you live in New Zealand:

If you’re buying from a New Zealand­ based brand, shipping will be free!

If you live in New Zealand and buy a product from an Australian­ based brand, shipping will be $20AUD.

If you live in New Zealand and buy a product from a brand based somewhere in the rest of the world, shipping will be $30AUD.

For example:

If you live in Auckland and purchase a pair of pants by Kowtow, shipping will be free.

If you live in Wellington and purchase a top by Kowtow (a New Zealand brand) and a pair of pants by Dress Up (an Australian brand), shipping will cost a flat rate of $20AUD.

If you live in the rest of the world:

If you live in the same country as the brand you’re buying, shipping will be free!

If you live somewhere besides Australia and New Zealand and buy a product from the rest of the world will be $30AUD.

Please note: If you purchase from an international brand, you may be subjected to import duties and taxes. As the customer you are responsible for payment of any such fees. If this is a concern, please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.

Exchanges:

If you would like to exchange a product, you must notify us within 7 days of receiving your goods. Once submitting exchange you must send the item with tracking number within a fortnight of the request.

We do not accept exchanges on earrings, underpants, socks and stockings, for hygiene reasons.  We only accept one-piece swimwear or bikini bottoms unworn, with hygiene stickers attached.

To request an exchange:

1. Simply log in to your account and next to your order select Return/Exchanges/Faulty.

2. Follow the prompts to submit your request.

3. You will be issued an exchange slip which you must print out and send with the package.

4. You must insert the tracking number of the parcel to complete the exchange.

5. Once the original item is received we will send you the replacement.

As we work with small independent designers it is necessary to be charged for the replacement shipment fee. Fees are as follows:

Local < > Local: $10

Aus < > NZ : $20

Rest of world : $30

Please note exchanges are subject to availability.

 

Returns:

If you would like to return a product, you must notify us within 7 days of receiving your goods. Once submitting the return you must send the item with tracking number within a fortnight or the request.

On-sale or used items are non-returnable and non-exchangeable, unless they are faulty.

Faulty or incorrect items

Faulty or incorrect items must be registered within 3 days of receiving an item. Once submitting the faulty request, you must send the item with tracking number within a fortnight of the request.

To submit a faulty or incorrect item:

1. Simply log in to your account and next to your order select Return/Exchanges/Faulty.

2. Follow the prompts to submit your request.

3. You will be issued a returns slip which you must print out and send with the package.

4. You must insert the tracking number of the parcel to complete the return.

5. Well Made Clothes will issue a refund or credit note as per your request.

Sold out items

As a market place working with independent brands with exclusive stock, in limited cases we cannot keep up with demand. If an item is out of stock, Well Made Clothes will issue a refund within 48 hours. You will also be issued a gift card of $15 for your next purchase. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience.
